Sponsored students are international students who receive funding to study at UNSW from an approved sponsoring authority. Sponsorship can cover tuition and living expenses, depending on the agreement. If you wish to become a sponsored student, you will need to organise and secure your own sponsorship.

Your Sponsored Students Contact Officer (SSCO) will send you, with copy to your supervisor, a Request for Research Student Progress Report twice a year. Under the terms of your scholarship we are required to enter details of your academic progress into DFATs database.
