Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) announced in October 2022 that universities must return to in-person teaching by 30 June 2023. This means that all UNSW international student visa holders must be onshore, in Australia, to complete their studies.

Nov 8, 2021 After delays due to the COVID-19 Delta outbreak in NSW, the NSW International Student Arrivals Pilot Plan was finally given the green light by the NSW and Australian governments in late September. The Pilot Plans first flight carrying 230 international students will land in Sydney on 6 December.
