Minors are offered by FASS as well as other Faculties, and students may apply for the following structured major-minor programmes at the point of admission to NUS.

Dec 8, 2020 The National University of Singapore (NUS) has officially launched the College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS), an enhanced undergraduate experience for students of the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (FASS) and the Faculty of Science (FOS).

The Faculty subscribes to the following two principles with respect to undergraduate education: 1) Depth and breadth. Good undergraduate education involves a balanced combination of depth and breadth.

Through this College, students of the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences and the Faculty of Science can now access over 700 double major pairings, 1,700 major-minor pairings and more than 100,000 major with double minor combinations across the University, and have greater flexibility to pursue intellectual breadth and depth across disciplines.

Education@FASS: Depth, Diversity & Difference. In this session, CHS Co-Dean Professor Lionel Wee accompanied by Vice Dean Associate Professor Melvin Yan will introduce the College of Humanities and Sciences and delve into the depth, diversity and difference an FASS education makes.
