Mar 7, 2021 I'm making this post to bring some attention to a new method of fixing Epic Games modding that I've found. It requires no command line arguments, and you can launch straight from Origin, EGL, and Steam .

Its also in the CMD file you shared. It goes go& -datapath %%22DATAPATH%%22 while it should be go& -datapath %22DATAPATH%22

Jan 20, 2021 How to Install Mods for the Epic Games Store version of Star Wars Battlefront 2 FREE. In this video I will tell you how to download and install mods on PC for the epic version.

try to go to the game properties in origin and register there (- datapath "D:\game\STAR WARS Battlefront II \ moddata") for the place " .. " insert your path to the moddata folder. You will only have a Mod Data folder if you have used mods before otherwise it will not appear, so your game is fine :D.

Setting up: - Try launching the game with Frosty's Mod Manager. It's needed to compile your selected mods into a ModData folder. The game will run, but mods won't appear. Doesn't matter, what's important is the creation of ModData directory in your BF2 folder. Close the game. - Start with a single, or very few mods.

In Origin make sure that the BF2 icon says Epic games on it, go to the game Properties, select Advanced Launch Options, and change the Command Line Arguments to: -datapath "C:\YOUR\PATH\TO\Origin Games\STAR WARS Battlefront II\ModData" (the beginning may need to change depending on where you installed BF2 and include the quotation marks)
