UNSW's Indigenous Strategy takes a holistic approach to Indigenous education, research, engagement and advocacy, striving to create a university environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples thrive and are empowered. Nura Gili: Centre for Indigenous Programs is our student-facing services, programs and study facility.
Launched in 2018, the UNSW Indigenous Strategy represents our commitment to creating an environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, researchers and staff to thrive. Recognising the importance of Country, community, and culture, the strategy is first of its kind at UNSW.
UNSW is home to many leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander scholars, researchers and lecturers. In the disciplines of law, medicine, education, mathematics and many more, our Indigenous researchers are making an impact for communities in Australia and the around the globe.
